Helped migrate PathAI’s public web presence into a maintainable CMS architecture while delivering a custom website for a complex healthcare AI organization.

The brief

PathAI operates in a field where the subject matter is technical, regulated, and continuously evolving. Its public website needed to communicate clearly to multiple audiences while giving the internal team a practical publishing system.

I contributed to the CMS migration and custom website implementation, helping turn that requirement into a structured, maintainable web platform.

What made it more than a page rebuild

A migration carries two products at once: the website visitors see and the editing system the organization inherits. Moving pages without improving the underlying content model simply transfers old friction into a new platform.

The work therefore had to preserve useful content, support new presentation patterns, and avoid locking every future update into developer intervention. It also had to maintain quality across a site where scientific, product, and corporate information each place different demands on the design.

The approach

The migration was organized around reusable content structures rather than a one-to-one copy of legacy pages. That made it possible to separate durable content from page-specific presentation and to give editors patterns they could reuse consistently.

My contribution focused on:

  • translating designs and content requirements into custom, responsive components;
  • supporting a migration path that preserved meaning rather than only markup;
  • keeping component behavior consistent across different content types;
  • validating pages at realistic breakpoints and content lengths; and
  • treating editor usability as part of the delivered product.

How the platform got stronger

The resulting website gave PathAI a more deliberate public experience and a clearer foundation for ongoing publishing. The CMS became a tool for operating the site rather than a container that reproduced the previous architecture.

The implementation also created a stronger boundary between shared system behavior and one-off page needs. That makes future changes easier to reason about and reduces the risk that a single update will create visual or editorial inconsistency elsewhere.

The takeaway

Complex organizations benefit when a CMS migration is treated as product and platform work together. This project demonstrates my ability to contribute to custom web delivery while keeping migration quality, responsive behavior, and long-term content ownership in view.
