Summary

Helped build a custom WordPress developer portal that organized documentation, downloads, training, knowledge, community, and support pathways.

The brief

NeuReality needed a developer-facing destination for the resources surrounding its AI infrastructure products. The portal had to bring documentation, product downloads, training, videos, knowledge, community, and support into a coherent experience.

I contributed to the custom WordPress implementation and the structure that made those different resource types feel like parts of one developer journey.

What made it different from a marketing site

Technical audiences arrive with intent. They may be evaluating a platform, looking for a specific document, trying to complete a task, or returning for support. A portal that organizes content around internal departments instead of those needs creates friction immediately.

The implementation also had to balance public orientation with resources and actions that may have different access requirements. Navigation, labels, and content hierarchy needed to make those boundaries understandable.

The approach

The portal was structured around a small set of durable developer goals: discover, learn, download, and get help.

My contribution included:

  • translating the resource architecture into a custom WordPress experience;
  • creating reusable patterns for technical content and portal navigation;
  • supporting documentation, video, training, and support pathways;
  • maintaining responsive behavior across content-heavy layouts; and
  • making the content model practical for the teams responsible for updates.

WordPress provided the publishing foundation, while the custom implementation shaped it around a developer audience rather than a conventional brochure site.

Why the information architecture mattered

Developer experience is partly a software problem and partly a coordination problem. When documentation, downloads, learning resources, and help live in disconnected systems, users pay the cost of finding the next step.

The portal reduced that coordination cost by giving those resources a shared structure and a consistent visual language.

The takeaway

This project demonstrates my approach to technical content platforms: start with the tasks developers need to complete, then build the CMS and interface around those paths. The result is easier to navigate, easier to maintain, and more useful after the initial launch.
