Summary

Helped redesign and relaunch MNI’s website around clearer positioning and conversion, then improved post-launch traffic through ongoing performance and SEO work.

The brief

MNI needed a website that communicated the brand more clearly and created stronger paths toward conversion. The work included the redesign and relaunch, followed by continued performance and SEO improvements.

I contributed across that lifecycle rather than treating the project as complete on launch day.

The real product was the operating loop

A redesign can improve clarity and still fail to produce durable results if the team cannot see what happens afterward. Search visibility, page performance, content quality, and conversion behavior continue to change once real users and crawlers interact with the site.

The project therefore needed a strong initial system and a practical way to keep learning from it.

The approach

The redesign focused on hierarchy, brand clarity, and intentional user paths. Development then translated those decisions into reusable, responsive patterns.

Post-launch work emphasized:

  • reviewing technical and on-page SEO fundamentals;
  • improving performance bottlenecks that affected experience and discovery;
  • maintaining clean content and heading structure;
  • connecting updates to observed traffic and search behavior;
  • protecting conversion paths as the site evolved; and
  • avoiding changes that produced short-term scores at the expense of usability.

That process created a feedback loop between the site’s technical condition, content strategy, and actual performance.

Why the post-launch phase mattered

The measurable traffic improvement did not come from one isolated tactic. It came from continuing to treat the website as a product with signals, constraints, and iteration.

Performance and SEO work were most effective when they reinforced the same goal as the redesign: help the right audience understand the brand and reach a useful next action.

The takeaway

MNI demonstrates how I approach marketing websites beyond delivery. A successful launch needs strong implementation, but durable value comes from observing the system after release and improving it without losing the clarity that motivated the redesign.
